The Seventh Trumpet

 A.D. 1980

Before the interpretation for the Seventh trumpet Angel come forth, I would like to share with you The Rainbow Angel and the Measuring of God’s temple in Revelation Chapter 10 and 11 for they all tie in together.

 The Rainbow Angel

Revelation Chapter 10

 ¹And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud; and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

   
   ²And he had in his hand a little book open. And he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

   
   ³and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth. And when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

   
   ⁴And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, "Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."

   
   ⁵And the angel, whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven.

   
   ⁶And he swore by Him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer,

   
   ⁷but that in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets.

   
   ⁸And the voice which I heard from Heaven spoke unto me again and said, "Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."

   
   ⁹And I went unto the angel and said unto him, "Give me the little book." And he said unto me, "Take it and eat it up, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey."

   
   ¹⁰And I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it up, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

   
   ¹¹And he said unto me, "Thou must prophesy again before many peoples and nations, and tongues and kings."

The angel was clothed with a cloud.  A cloud refers to a great number of witnesses, (Heb. 12:1) as a result of this angel sounding the trumpet, a great cloud of witnesses is manifested.  He came down from heaven or was sent by God, not man.  God’s approval or anointing rested upon him.  His credentials came from God.

·        A Rainbow was upon his head, this bow being the word, God’s promise.  Bit it being positioned upon his head, he was acknowledging Christ a his head.  When the word comes from our Head, which Christ, the body will benefit from it.  God has sealed his forehead with the knowledge of the word.

·        His feet were as pillars of fire.  They supported the truth and were shod with the preparation of the gospel.  They would carry a fiery gospel, a gospel accompanied by the Holy Ghost fire.  It would have burning affects that would burn, stubble, or chaff.

·        He had a little open book in his hand.  There are two sealed books in the revelation one in the 5^th chapter and other in the 10^th chapter.  The one in the 5^th chapter contained the vision itself.  Because as these seals was open, the vision unraveled and continued.  He opened one seal at a time.  But his other little book in Revelation the 10^th chapter is the “the book of Revelation” itself with the complete vision.  The fact the book was opened in his hand shows us that a complete understanding was offered to the people.

·        The angel set one foot on the sea, which represents degenerate people, and the other foot on the earth, earthly creeds or Protestantism.  Remember those feet were carrying fiery gospel.  As they were set (the feet) on the sea and earth. They burned Babylon.

⁴And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me, "Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."

·        This voice from heaven was Jesus, The Rainbow angel was a symbol of the seventh seal ministry.  Jesus came to John and thundered out the understanding of what John had already seen.  And as John was about to write that down, Jesus told John to seal up these things.  “I don’t want you to put the understanding in the vision, but seal it up”.

Our thought is there are two sealed books taught in Revelation.  One contained the vision itself, but it was open up one seal at a time, as it was opened up John wrote down, what each seal said, which is in the last book of your bible, called the book of Revelation.

The other sealed book taught, John did not write what he saw down which was the understanding of what all these things meant.  Jesus didn’t want John to write it down.  Seal it up until the days of the voice of the seventh angel, then the mystery shall be finished.

We are living in the seventh seal age where the understanding of the book is no longer sealed up.  The mystery is revealed, which enables us to understand the complete Revelation message and to be the church of God in our day.

·        “The time should be no longer” means there is o be no further delay in preaching all the judgments of God.  The seventh seal ministry is bringing the wrath of God.  (Rom 1:18).

·        “In the days of the voice of the seventh angel” means it isn’t going to take days to call the world into judgment.  That will occur in a twinkling of an eye.  “In the days” is time period when the voice (the gospel preaching), would sound, by the Seventh Trumpet angel.

·        “The mystery of God will be finished” A mystery, remember, is unrevealed truths, the gospel and the end of it. It will be revealed before we get to heaven.

   ⁸And the voice which I heard from Heaven spoke unto me again and said, "Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."

·        This voice is Jesus again speaking with John, who said “ Go and take the little book which is open the hand of the angel.  Jesus had commissioned his ministry to go and take the book,  It is important that the ministry have the revelation message, a ministry is not complete without it.  This message is not just given, you must take it.  Some things we may have to wrestle a angel like Jacob did, to get a blessing.  Some things come not but by prayer and fasting, however a minister is not complete without it.  For it is the end time message that distinguishes us from Babylon, they don’t have the true end time message.  This message is what seals the truth in the saint’s forehead.  This message will distinguishes us from False apostles, and apostates, who daily misrepresent the church of God.

·        The fact that the book was open in the angels hand lets us know that the complete message of the revelation must be preached. This Rainbow Angel, uttered seven thunders, that is the complete understanding of the message for the seventh seal age. 

·        John said I went unto the angel, and said unto, Give me the little book.  This angel symbolized in the vision the seventh seal ministry, who had the complete understanding of the revelation message. This message is the vision of the church of God, John went unto the angel, where do you go to get your understanding of the message, I challenge every church of God preacher to say Give me the little book and mean it.  I guaranteed you that God will show you great and heavenly things.  Without this message and vision you cannot seal the saints, they are open for Babylonian deception.

⁹And I went unto the angel and said unto him, "Give me the little book." And he said unto me, "Take it and eat it up, and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey."

·        The Angel said take it and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.  After John did what the angel said do. It was bitter in his belly, Some things are hard to swallow, some things at times will not set right with us.  But it is for our own good.  And some things are sweet, and we have no problem spiritually digesting it.

¹⁰And I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it up, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. ¹¹And he said unto me, "Thou must prophesy again before many peoples and nations, and tongues and kings."

·        In verse 11 we see that the preacher receives this great commission, “Thou must prophesy again before many peoples and nations, and tongues and kings”.  For the Seventh Seal ministry, this is your last call to make known the mystery of the revelation to the world.

 Measuring the Temple of God

Revelation Chapter 11

And there was given me a reed like unto a rod; and the angel stood, saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God and the altar, and them that worship therein.

   
   ²But the court which is outside the temple, leave out, and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles; and the Holy City shall they tread under foot for forty and two months.

   
   ³And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth."

   
   ⁴These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing before the God of the earth.

   
   ⁵And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth and devoureth their enemies; and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

   
   ⁶These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy, and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

   
   ⁷And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them and kill them.

   
   ⁸And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

   
   ⁹And they of the people and kindreds, and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

   
   ¹⁰And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

   
   ¹¹But after three days and a half, the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fellupon them that saw them.

   
   ¹²And they heard a great voice from Heaven, saying unto them, "Come up hither!" And they ascended up to Heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

   
   ¹³And that same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth part of the city fell; and in the earthquake were slain seven thousand men, and the remnant were seized with fear, and gave glory to the God of Heaven.

   
   ¹⁴The second woe is past; and behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

   
   ¹⁵And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever!"

   
   ¹⁶And the four and twenty elders, who sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshiped God,

   
   ¹⁷saying, "We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and wast, and art to come, because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power, and hast reigned.

   
   ¹⁸And the nations were angry; and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints and them that fear Thy name, small and great, and shouldest destroy them that destroy the earth."

   
   ¹⁹And the temple of God was opened in Heaven; and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament, and there were lightning and voices, and thundering and an earthquake, and great hail.

 Measuring the temple of God

And the Two Witnesses

In Rev. 11:1, 2; there was give John a reed like unto rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein In this passage of the scripture we have the measuring of the temple with a reed as a rod, symbolizing the church and the word.  The temple symbolizes the church, and the rod symbolizes the word. The measuring of the courts were left out, for it was given to the gentiles (unsaved), and the holy city (the visible church) would they tread under foot forty and two months which symbolizes 1,260 years

Why does John need to measure the Church?  Why would the ministry measure the church today?  See Eph. 4;7-13,  First I must say the word stature means; Solid carved and cast image of a person – Webster.  The church of God is supposed to be the spitting image of Jesus Christ.  And the only way you can tell that she is the image of Christ is by sizing her up by the word.  This is how one can know if he is in the true church or not.  If the congregation I attend which is a image of body, does not match up to the word, which is Christ, then I am in the wrong place, even if it has the name church of God above the door.

 Measuring the altar

In looking at this scripture, I must first determine which altar is be referred to here.  Because the table had two altars, one was the Altar of Burnt Offering which was in the Courtyard before the Laver and Curtain, which was the entrance to the holy place.  The other altar, was the Altar of Incense, or Altar of Consecration, which was in the first room (holy place), before the vail, where the Ark of Covenant was.  The Altar of Incense is where the High Priest offered up Incense to God.  Why was it necessary to measure this altar, because this typified the believer’s consecration and dedication to God.  No flesh was to be burnt on that altar.  For flesh shall not glory in His eyesight.  All flesh must be slain, for Jesus to reign. 

Measuring the worshippers

Why measure the worshippers, because them that worship God must worship him in spirit and truth. John 4.20-24.

The Two Witnesses

The two witnesses mentioned here symbolize the word and the Spirit (John 5:39; Matt 4:4; 1 John 5:8).  These scriptures prove the word as a witness and Spirit as a witness (Heb 10:15; Rom. 8:16).  This time symbol of 42 months (1,260 years), using one day for a year up through time, denotes the period of time when the word and spirit was clothed in sackcloth, or they were obscured from sight, they did not have preeminence among man openly, they were grieved and forced to mourn (sackcloth) at the present condition.  During this time period, even though the church was hid from view and the Apostate church had risen from the people.  God yet had a people during this 1,260 years, even though the word and spirit was grieved and mourning in sackcloth and ashes.  The Gentiles (Roman Catholicism) was the only visible church in view and the true worshipper of God was hidden in God’s secret holy place.  There were a people that God was nourishing and filling them with oil and the light of his word.  See Zech. 4^th chapter.  We get the truth relative to the olive trees.  The prophet saw a candlestick with seven lamps and two olive trees, one on the right side and the other on the left side.  They each had golden pipes from the tree to the candlesticks.  He tells us in verse 6, that his is the Word and by might but by my Spirit, saith the Lord.  The Church of God survived in the Holy place of God and was feed by his Spirit.  In Zech 14:14 he said, “These are the two anointed ones”

So the two witnesses are the anointed ones.  The oil piped from the olive tree into the candlestick and the candle gave the light.  The word and the Spirit during this dark age of 1,260 years feed the church, the body of believer scatter throughout the earth.

In the foregoing scriptures these two witnesses had prophesied for the period of 1,260 years.  The beast that ascended up from the bottomless pit made war with them, and killed them.

This was the Protestant Beast in Revelation 13:11.  he came from the bottomless pit.  The Dragon was thrown down into the pit and this beast came up from the pit, speaking like a dragon.  Remember a bottomless pit; symbolizes a religion with no bible foundation. Now in A.D. 1530 we see the dragon being re-introduced in the form of a lamb like beast.  He made war with the two witnesses.  He killed their influences, He took away their governing power. 

For 350 years there were no local congregations of the real church divine in the earth with Christ as head.  The spirit of man rule became the head of the church.  There was no visible church, according to the New Testament.  They were dis-assembled and were scattered by the two horn beast.  The two witnesses lay in the street of the great city, spiritually called Sodom (spiritual wickedness) and Egypt (spiritual bondage).  The same is true of Christians in protestant churches today, they are yoked up with wickedness and bondage of unregenerate folks.  Many today are crucifying the lord afresh and putting him to an open shame in the denominational churches, by the life they are living. 

The three days and a half would symbolize 350 years of when the word and spirit to be put in graves, or covered up as in days of Papalism, but were open in the hands of the people.

The Seventh Trumpet

A.D. 1930

 ¹⁵And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in Heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign for ever and ever!"

   
¹⁶And the four and twenty elders, who sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces and worshiped God,

   
¹⁷saying, "We give Thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and wast, and art to come, because Thou hast taken to Thee Thy great power, and hast reigned.

   
¹⁸And the nations were angry; and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou shouldest give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints and them that fear Thy name, small and great, and shouldest destroy them that destroy the earth."

   
   ¹⁹And the temple of God was opened in Heaven; and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament, and there were lightnings and voices, and thunderings and an earthquake, and great hail.

The great voices in heaven referred to in verse 15, symbolize the rejoicing of the people of God in heavenly places here in this world, who have reached the knowledge of the seventh seal light and truth and through his sounding, he is bringing the Mystery (Plan of redemption to a close.  The term “The Kingdoms of this word are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ, simply means in the seventh seal, through the preaching of the seventh trumpet, that there is a people whom Christ is ruling their lives, (Rom. 14;17) and that His kingdom will reign forever and ever.

The seventh trumpet will sound though unto the end or almost the end of time.  In verves 16 and 17, thanks and appreciation were extended to the Lord by His people, for His victorious reign and supremacy through the entire gospel dispensation.

At this time in verse 18 the nations are angry, made so because the devil knows that he has but a very short time.  The entire world seems to be angry.  Nations are filled with false religions of beast worship, under the spirit of the “false prophecy”; the sounding of the seventh trumpet exposes these nations and their deceptions.  The nations of the false worshippers are made, because of the light of truth that exposes them.  Yes the nations are being judge right now until the end of time, but His servants and prophets will have a good reward.

The sounding of the seventh trumpet is also responsible for causing the temple of God in heave to be opened.  This mean the church is made visible.  There also were great voices, much rejoicing in heavenly places.  When in sin we all ruled our own little kingdoms, but when born again we were made kings and priests, reigning over sin, our lives or kingdoms, which used to be of this world.  Now the have became the kingdoms of our father and His son.

The ark of his covenant or testimony was in the temple signifying God’s presence dwelling in His church.  There was lightning, voices, and thundering, and a earthquake and great hail, (the hail being the solid judgments of God’s Truth).
