The Great Reaping

Revelation 14th Chapter Recap

 These verses do not refer to Christ second coming, or Christ coming with clouds.  These are symbols that John saw in the vision.  Christ second coming is never referred to as a reaping.  All the reaping and harvesting will be done when Jesus come a second time (John 4:34-36).  This reaping has to do with people being reaped from sin, sects and all man made religion.

  • 1st Angel had the everlasting gospel. (The New Testament Evening Light Message) This is the same gospel that Jesus preached when He walked the earth.  This Gospel has not changed, even though people have.
  • 2nd Angel held judgment on Babylon. (Exposing False Religion, Confusion and Corruption).  For Example; Church joining, instead of true repentance, and etc.
  • 3rd Angel held the results of the judgment of the second angel, which was torment. (This angel shows us what the mark of the beast is, and shows us the judgment of those who fellowship this false religious system, It shows us the torment of those who reject the message also.  A distinction is made between those who were tormented for rejecting the truth, and those who kept the truth of the everlasting gospel.  The ones that left Babylon and kept the commandments of God and the faith (doctrine of Jesus Christ), they had rest from their labors (trying to build up Babylon), and their works (the results) do follow them.

 

Here we see a vision of Christ in the Evening Light He is symbolized as one like unto the Son of Man, he also  had a golden crown (the crown symbolizing victory) on his head and sharp sickle (the sickle symbolize the message of reaping), (a message of unity and gathering) in his hand.  The sixth seal had a vision and direct revelation from Jesus Christ himself. So now we see a cloud (The saints of the sixth seal, who obeyed the message and came out standing for the truth),

 

Note: A natural cloud is high, visible and easily seen.  It’s made up of many little particles.  It symbolizes a body of people who was a witness to the revelation from God.

 

Read Heb. 12:1, (A visible Church in the Evening time), we also see the angel sitting on the cloud, (A heavenly ministry gathering God’s people with his sharp sickle). This ministry had the victory, because he had a golden crown on his head.

 

There was more of a yearning for the truth back in 1880. than what it is today.  The people back there were looking and seeking for truth and percentage wise, there were more saved people back there in Babylon, because now hundreds and thousands or hundreds of thousands have been reaped from the earth (institutions of men), since 1880.

 

After searching, studying, reading bible history, they began to come out within a five to fifteen year span, they began to cross one another paths and compare notes and revelations and find out that this was not themselves or their ideals or way of thinking, but a definite move of God.  After they became illuminated in their minds they began to study revelation and bible prophecy and God began to unfold his deep things. 

 

We see a cloud of witnesses that Christ through his ministers gave a direct revelation too.  The fact that Christ sat on the cloud showed that He was in control. (Matt. 3:12).

 

    1. God’s people was scattered in Babylon
    2. It took a direct revelation by Jesus Christ
    3. By this revelation, it raise up a cloud of witnesses to the Word & Spirit.
    4. Jesus used this cloud to reap others from the earth
    5. The ministry and attitude of the people was that this was a move of God.

 

Here we see the first fruits gathered in the sixth seal, and in this seventh seal we are gathering or gleaning of the remains.  We just studied a ministry who performed and did their job well, and where you see a ministry performing and doing their job, there will always be a people who will except the message and do their job.

 

  • 4th Angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice.   Here we see a ministry calling on God.  Here we see a ministry with a burden, for they cried unto Jesus, the one who sat on the cloud.  They had a burden for the souls down in Babylon.  They cried “Thrust in thy sickle”, and “reap”, for the harvest of the earth (sects and institution of men) is ripe, that is ripe for the picking.  When was the last time you brought a soul out of Babylon with this message of truth?  Their cries were heard, the Son of Man was touched, for he thrust in his sickle and reaped.
  • 5th Angel came out of the temple also having a sharp sickle, Now we see a ministry at work here reaping.  First we saw Jesus on the cloud reaping, that is revealing light unto men and bring them out of Babylon and now we see the angel with the sickle reaping, that is bringing and revealing light unto men and bring them out.  This angel preached a message of “Come out of Her my People”, that message is pretty much dead among some of the so-called church of God groups today.
  • 6th Angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire, and cried also with a loud voice.  Here we see the ministry again with a burden and special request for the ministry with God’s sharp message to gather the clusters of the vine of the earth.

 

Here we see two gatherings going on, the one with Christ and his angels gathering souls from Babylon and the other is the gathering of the left over to be burned.  We see a ministry who had power over fire.  We must come to place where we can put God’s judgments out and not get burn ourselves.  When a angel has power over fire “ he can say put in the sickle “Put judgment on Babylon, “Gather the clusters”, preach in such a way that they will either be gathered to truth or Babylon.  It will be all wheat and no tares, “We get the mixture out of the camp”, that only genuine saved people can stand it”, that the hypocrites would get saved or openly backslide.  Isaiah 13:1, 13,14; Jer. 50:14-16.

 

In  Rev. 14:19,20 the bible says, and the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. (20) And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

 

For 1610 years Babylon (False Religious System) has deceived and killed the souls of men up until God revealed his judgments against her and showed her guilty for 1610 years, this guilt rested upon her leadership, (the horses bridles).

 

The shedding of blood implies a battle or wrath.  The fact that blood came out of the grapes instead of wine, shows us that Babylon is guilty of the souls of men for 1610 years.  During the time of preliminary judgment in the evening light, God is pouring out his wrath for the 1610 years of damage that Babylon has done.
