The Godhead

The New Testament teaches that we are to worships the only true God, the God of the Bible. God is a Trinity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (I John 5:7). The Father is Eternal (Deu 33:27); the Son is Eternal (Heb 7:3); and the Holy Ghost is Eternal (Heb 9:14). There are three distinct Persons, but one God: "... these three are one" (I John 5:7). The Father is the creator of the universe (Gen 1:1) through the Son (Col 1:15-16) and the Holy Spirit (Gen 1:2).
